Rain —

of wires,
of roofs,
of trees,
of umbrellas,

of the searching rain —

of a drop,
of a bead,
of the heart,
of that of —

この詩に込めた思い

透明な「の」が、
見えた気がした。

雨は、あらゆるものを濡らし、
同時に隔てもつくる。

人は、「の」で生きている。

電線の、屋根の、木々の、雨傘の――
雨の内側にある。

最後の「そのの」――
生きている。

Thoughts Behind the Poem

A transparent “no”
seemed to appear.

Rain wets everything,
and at the same time, divides.

Human beings live
within the “no.”

Of wires, of roofs, of trees, of umbrellas—
all are inside the rain.

The final “sonono” —
is alive.
