目の前の
一人を
救おうとする

その言葉は
どこにでもある
けれど

実行の場面になると
誰の姿も
消えていく

世界は
人を
別の用途へ変更した

いつ
そうなったのか
その問いさえも
欠落している

深部まで
静かな麻痺は
太古の昔からあるのだろう

君は言った
ある仕組みが
それを支えるために
人を
組み替えたと

そのとき
手段になっていたのは
誰だったか

人が
人の居場所を
見えなくしている

目の前の一人を
救おうとすることが
この地上に
有益な線を引きなおせるのに

遮断された場所で
時間が止まり

動かない
現実の時計だけが
そこにある

止まった針を
再び
動かすものは
胸の奥の力用

Purpose

To save
the one person
before your eyes—

The phrase exists
everywhere,
and yet—

and yet,
when the moment
of action arrives,
every figure
dissolves away.

The world
has reassigned
human beings
to different uses.

When
did it happen?
Even the question
has fallen out
of our hands.

Deep within,
a quiet numbness
has likely dwelled
since ancient time.

You told me
a certain system
was built
to uphold itself
by rearranging
the human shape.

At that moment,
who was it
that had become
the means?

People
erase the outlines
of one another’s
dwelling place.

And yet,
the effort to save
the one person before you
could redraw
a vital line
upon this earth.

In a sealed place,
time halts.

Only the unmoving
clock of reality
remains.

What returns
its frozen hands
to motion
is the force
that lives
in the deepest chamber
of the chest.

この詩に込めた思い

人はいつのまにか、
誰かの目的に沿って形を変えさせられていく。
その変化に気づくことすら、
知らぬ間に奪われていく。

気づかないまま用途へすり替えられるとき、
人間という存在は輪郭を失う。

しかし、目の前の一人を救おうとする行為だけは、
用途ではなく“人そのもの”を開く行為であり、
世界を引きなおす生命線となる。

この詩にあるのは、怒りではなく宣言であり、
諦念ではなく、胸の奥の力が
止まった針を動かすかもしれないという感触である。
その感触を言葉のうえに置いた。

Thoughts Behind the Poem

A person is gradually
reshaped to fit
someone else’s purpose.
The awareness of that change
is taken away
before one even notices.

When a human being
is quietly swapped
for a mere “use,”
the outline of their existence
fades.

Yet the act of trying
to save the one person
before your eyes
is not a use—
it is an opening
of the human itself,
a lifeline
that redraws the world.

What this poem holds
is not anger
but a declaration;
not resignation
but the sensation
that the force
deep in the chest
might set
a halted hand
into motion again.

I placed that sensation
onto the surface
of language.
