君の胸の奥にも
希望がある

君の希望が
どんな苦しみも乗り越える

薄暗い不安や悲観も
君の希望が明るくする

どうか思い出してほしい
どうか忘れないでほしい

君の中には
限りない希望の力と
自己への厚い信頼が
厳然と存在していることを

朝は
夜の次にやって来る

その時の
君の笑顔こそ

この詩に込めた思い

この詩は、どんな苦しみや不安の中にも
かならず希望が息づいているという確信から生まれた。

人はときに光を見失い、心が闇に覆われることがある。
けれども、その闇を照らす光は外にあるのではなく、もともと自分の内に存在している。

君の中には限りない希望の力がある――
